The city of Port Saeed functions as the entrance to the Suez canal which connects the whole world together, the city itself aspires to become an international trading hub with new plans for sustainable ports, factories and the services to accompany them. This project describes a vision of what the new portal authority hub could be, a massive infrastructure complex that provides services for the port and the city together by creating large water piazzas along with market space, religious hub, restaurant hub and a hotel.
The building itself is positioned over the rail tracks in turn it acts as a bridge between the city and the port with all its functions protruding into the space above the tracks, the building is designed to be architectural walkable experience with a museum and a floating garden hanging above the existing infrastructure.
